Gozo FC will not withdraw their team from the MFA Second Division League Section A as a sign of good will, at least for the time being. This GFA Council meeting was held following the MFA Council's decision to deny Gozo FC the use of the Gozo Stadium for their home matches. The decision taken by the MFA Council was rather strange, considering that clubs like Hibernians and Hamrun are allowed to make use of their stadiums. According to reliable sources, there will be new discussions among the members in the Second Division Standing Committee which could lead to a compromise between the two parties. Rumours have it that Sliema Wanderers are about to become a public limited company. The only Maltese club who is already a plc is B'Kara.
